You Don’t Give to Get

For Agora’s International Women’s Day Exhibition 2026. Inspired by the prompt “give to gain”. The phrase reminded me of the contradictory “you don’t give to get!” I was taught as a child. It made me think of Queer intimacy and the concept of ‘giving’ to indulge in another person’s pleasure. I believe representing authentic and healthy representation of sexuality as a Queer woman is magical and important.
