Samples I made to experiment for a re-telling of ‘Sleeping Beauty’, intended as a chapter book for older children. The re-telling imagines the knight as a girl instead of a prince, who knew the princess since they were both young (and they have mutual but unspoken romantic feelings for each other). I love representing Sapphic characters in my work, representation matters a lot to me!

Since then I have been working as a freelance illustrator part-time. I love to explore Queer & Feminist narratives in my work.
